SWAPXMONEY DOCUMENTATION

A clearer way to move money.

Everything you need to understand the connection between X Money dollars and native SOL.

Getting started

  1. Open Swap and choose X Money to SOL or SOL to X Money.
  2. Enter your exact input amount. Dollar inputs accept two decimal places; SOL inputs accept nine.
  3. Review the estimated output and each fee. Use the refresh control to retrieve a new market observation.
  4. Enter a valid destination: a Solana public address for SOL, or an X handle for X Money.
  5. Check the destination and confirm the swap to check route availability.

How estimates are calculated

The reference is the latest available SOL/USD trade from Coinbase Exchange. A spot observation describes a market price; it does not reserve liquidity or guarantee an executable exchange rate. An observation older than two minutes cannot be used for a new review. Reviews also expire after 60 seconds.

Dollar value = input USD, or input SOL × SOL/USD
Protocol fee = dollar value × 0.5%, rounded up to cents
Net dollars = dollar value − protocol fee − network allowance
SOL output = net dollars ÷ SOL/USD
USD output = net dollars

The network allowance is 0.000005 SOL, converted at the same reference price. It is a modeling allowance rather than a dynamically estimated transaction fee. Outputs round down to the asset precision. The minimum estimate applies your selected rate tolerance (default 0.5%) to the estimated output.

Wallets and destinations

Native SOL uses the Solana mainnet-beta network and nine decimal places. It is the network asset, not an arbitrary token named SOL. X Money is represented in US dollars and is not an SPL token. Do not enter a token mint as a destination wallet.

Phantom connection requests permission to share a public address. The application reads that address’s mainnet SOL balance. It does not need a seed phrase, private key, or message signature. Connecting is optional for estimates. Account changes clear the previously selected destination and balance.

Protocol architecture

The product journey separates market observation, estimate calculation, destination review, and settlement-route availability. This separation makes expired rates and unavailable routes visible before a swap progresses. The conceptual settlement route reconciles a dollar leg with a Solana leg; it is not an atomic cross-chain swap and should not be understood as one.

Market and network reads travel through same-origin server endpoints. Private provider credentials are never delivered to the browser. A spot-price service provides no bank-settlement authority, and a wallet connection grants no spending authority.

Availability and retrying

Preparing means a request is being checked; it does not mean funds moved. When a route cannot be reserved, the app displays an availability error. Refresh the estimate before retrying. An unavailable balance or market source is shown as unavailable rather than zero. No explorer receipt is issued without an actual transaction.
